GTCO CalComp Brings More Speed to the ScanPlus IV Family of Scanners

May 1, 2003GTCO CalComp, Inc. announced today the enhancement of their ScanPlus IV family of large-format scanners.  Some of the key enhancements include the introduction of improved speed and capabilities of existing models, and the addition of six new models to the line.

The new additions to the ScanPlus IV family include improved 36” scanners.  With the introduction of double 4-linear CCD’s and color scanning speeds up to three inches per second, the new 36” scanners are designed to provide value for the demanding GIS, reprographic and CAD applications. The new scanners include the 536TX and 536TX Plus monochrome scanners, and the 736C, 736C Plus, 936C and 936C Plus color scanners.

The ScanPlus IV family of scanners incorporates versatility by providing upgrade ability with the addition of a simple smart card. The upgrade, which can be done in the field, can add speed and in some cases enable a monochrome scanner to perform color scanning.

Scan Plus IV scanners are available in a variety of models offering scan widths from 25” to 50” and image resolution from 600 to 2400 dpi. Scan Plus IV scanners come with a one-year on-site warranty in the Continental U.S.  A variety of color and monochrome models are available with prices starting as low as $8,900.
