Announces the DrawingBoard V
Industry’s highest resolution digitizer to incorporate native USB
support
September 23, 2004–GTCO CalComp announced today the release of their
new DrawingBoard V line of
large-format digitizers, featuring native USB support for simplified
connectivity. The new DrawingBoard V large-format digitizers feature the
industry’s highest resolution—up to 12,700 lines per inch, a choice
of corded or cordless transducers and a variety of sizes to satisfy the
needs of any application.

Available immediately in four sizes ranging from 20” x 24” to 44”
x 60”, the DrawingBoard V provides a resolution of up to 12,700 lines
per inch and an accuracy of 0.002”, making it ideal for the most
demanding CAD and GIS applications. In addition, users can select the
pointing device they find most appropriate for their work: 4- or
16-button corded or cordless cursors; or click-tip, pressure tip, or
Lite Touch pens are available for accurate digitizing.
